Picture description
Draw a picture of the PT Shuttle landed on the planet. Draw some very short and fat trees (because of the heavy gravity). You can draw Darius and Robo inside the window of the PT Shuttle or draw them outside on the ground beside it. I put some pictures below to give you some ideas for how to draw Darius, Robo, the PT Shuttle, and the short, fat trees on the planet’s surface. Have fun!
Excerpt from Chapter Four of The Tiny Cyborg:
They had arrived.
Darius opened the door. The gravity made him feel even heavier. It took great effort just to unbuckle himself. As he reached for Robo’s harness, his hard suit buzzed.
The electronic voice came from the neck panel. “Recalculating gravitational force.”
Suddenly Darius felt like he was in normal gravity again. The joints of his hard suit hummed as they took on the pressure of Atoris’s gravity. He unbuckled Robo and climbed out of the shuttle.
Darius stood on a concrete landing pad. A path had been painted on the surface, guiding him to a distant terminal building. He walked along the path. On the edge of the airstrip, Darius could see a few funny looking trees. They were no taller than he was, but their trunks were three times as wide. Rather than reaching for the sky, the tree branches hung down toward the ground.
Darius
Darius is a small boy. He has big eyes, short light brown hair, and a kind face.
