Well, readers. It’s been a loooonnnng time coming, but I finally have an announcement!
Some of you may remember that I stopped writing Onyx Eyes back in February to work on a series for a publisher that had shown interest in my writing. Well, I’m happy to announce that Bethany House Publishers has bought an epic fantasy trilogy from me! It is tentatively called The Kinsman Chronicles, and the first book, King’s Folly, will come out in September 2015!
Here is the logline for book one: In a fantasy world, a grieving prince struggles to solve his beloved’s murder—a mystery that uncovers a conspiracy of apocalyptic proportions.
I know that doesn’t tell you much. Yet. I will say that this series takes place on the same planet as the Blood of Kings series. These are some of Achan’s ancestors, so the story happens long before Achan was born. I hope that you will enjoy it! I’ll be sure to keep you posted as I learn more.

Yes, it should come out in the spring of 2015–if all goes well. *fingers crossed*

YAYNESS THIS IS SO EXCITING!! More fantasy from Jill!!!! 😀 I can’t wait. (Which is unfortunate because apparently I’ll HAVE to wait… 2015?? *wails* Eheh. :P) But seriously, this is marvelous news and an enormous CONGRATS to you Jill on this exciting new contract with a new publisher and everything! I’m so happy for youuu! ^_^ YAY! *throws party and begins the loooong wait*
