School started in John Day today. My son started second grade and my baby girl started kindergarten. She was so excited! I took lots of pictures (I’m a proud Momma!) and then settled down at the computer to write. To actually work on book two in the Blood of Kings series. That’s right, I worked on To Darkness Fled today. Be proud.
Summer has been so busy with trips here and there and the kids home and marketing and promotion that I got buried trying to keep up with it all. But today I got through 32 pages and I feel great. The book it now at 398 pages. I’m not quite done with tweaking the first draft and there are a few new scenes I still need to add, but I’m getting there. Yay!
Glad to see book 2 is coming along! I discovered book 1 browsing the library and zipped through it in a couple days. It’s been a lot of years since I’ve been that absorbed in book. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story 🙂
