I found out from a friend who was at EPICon 2010 that By Darkness Hid won the EPIC Award in the fantasy category!
The EPIC Awards are given for books released in ebook format. The awards ceremony was in New Oreleans on the last night of EPICon 2010. Also, Stuart Stockton won the EPIC Award in the science fiction category for his novel Starfire. Congrats, Stuart!
A week later, I received a lovely plaque in the mail, along with the program and the red “the award goes to” envelope with the little card that said, “By Darkness Hid.”
How cool is that?
