I just saw the $1.99 offer for these two ebooks today (July 10, 2014). I had just finished the Blood of the Kings trilogy and was looking for additional books from you.
Any way to get a promotional code to purchase these for the $1.99 instead of the $5.99 price now being asked? At least for the first book?
I really enjoyed your trilogy and that is what prompted me to look for more.

Hi, Ron. Thanks for your interest in the Safe Lands series. I’m sorry, but I have no control over the ebook prices on my books. They publisher owns the rights and they decide when things go on sale. For Captives, it is possible they will run another sale in late August when book three comes out, but they haven’t mentioned anything to me yet about that. I don’t even have my own ebook copy to use for giveaways. I’m hoping that is something that might change in the future with ebook rights, but for now, that’s how things are controlled. You should be able to download a free sample of the book onto your ereader to see if you like it. Otherwise, I’m sure it will go on sale again at some point. If you sign up for my ezine or my private Facebook group or follow me on Twitter, those are places I post when one of my books is put on sale.
