3 Princes

King Echad of Armania has three sons: two that are of age and one that is nearly so. The king does not believe in the right of first blood to inherit the throne. He will choose his Heir when he is ready and not a moment sooner, though the longer he tarries in making a decision, the more divided the realm of Armania becomes.

Prince Wilek Hadar is the oldest living son of King Echad and his first wife Queen Brelenah. He is twenty-four years of age and works closely with his father in matters of the realm. He is betrothed to Lady Zeroah Barta of Sarikar, and the two are set to marry upon Wilek’s twenty-fifth ageday. Prince Wilek is hopeful that his father will declare him Heir as he is a very responsible young man and cares for his people. He also hopes that if he someday becomes king of Armania, he can put a stop to the barbaric human sacrifices his father insists upon each month.

Prince Janek Hadar is the oldest living son of King Echad and his second wife Queen Laviel. He is twenty years old and spends most of his time at Seacrest, a small castle on the ocean a few leagues south of the city of Everton where the he holds court with his loyal young followers. Prince Janek cares nothing for hard work and responsibility. He rather enjoys needling his brothers and playing pranks. He was betrothed and nearly married, but the engagement ended in a scandal that was entirely Prince Janek’s fault. He claims to have no interest in politics whatsoever, though his actions do not always match this assertion.

Prince Trevn Hadar– is the only child of King Echad and his third wife Queen Thallah. The youngest prince spent his childhood in the realm of Sarikar, a gesture of peace between the two nations. But now that Trevn’s fifteenth ageday is approaching, his father the king has called him home. Trevn fancies himself a renegade, who stands against the confines of the establishment by opposing everything fashionable and conventional. This gets him into plenty of trouble, especially with his mother, who is desperate for her son to be well-liked and connected to the court of King Echad.
