Replication: The Jason ExperimentΒ is a young adult science fiction novel about a girl who discovers that her father is working at a cloning lab. When one of the clones escapes, Abby does all she can to help him rescue the others from the lab.
In this chapter we meet Martyr, also known as J:3:3, a clone with a curiosity for color.
Zondervan gave me permission to podcast this chapter, but I will not be podcasting the whole book. Replication comes out in one month! It’s on preorder sale at most online retailers. Click on the cover to see it at Amazon.com.
Next week I’ll start podcasting To Darkness Fled. Whoo hoo!

Very cool. I’m in!
I’ve already pre-ordered it on Amazon.
I saw on MLP’s website – your interview – that there is a sequel called Jason Hunters? Will that one be coming out soon?
jwilliamsonwrites says
Thanks, Ember!
Well… that was back when Replication was called Jason Farms. My plan was to have a trilogy: Jason Farms, Jason Hunters, and Jason Soldiers. But Zondervan changed the name of the book. And they only bought book one. If the book does well, they will be interested in the sequels. Who knows what they’ll call them. Replication, Hibernation, and Confederation? LOL! (Jason Hunters was about a boy with part wolf DNA, and Jason Soldiers was about turning the clones into soldiers.) We’ll just have to wait and see how Replication does. If you like the book, please write online reviews and tell everyone you know. That will help. And if Zondervan does buy sequels, I will definitely post about it on my blog. π
Ember says
Sounds awsome!
I’ll be praying that the rest of the books get contracted very quickly!
BTW did you hear the news that MLP will be publishing YA now?
jwilliamsonwrites says
Thanks, Ember. π
I did hear that MLP might officially go into YA. John Otte’s Failstate is YA. And Jeff is maybe going to publish my spy kid series if we can work out the release dates with Zondervan…
Where did you hear it? Did Jeff finally announce it?
Ember says
I heard about it a week or two ago through a link on Kathy Tyer’s facebook page.
Just went back and looked, but couldn’t find it. Maybe I missed it.
jwilliamsonwrites says
I found it, Ember. It was on the interview link Kathy posted where Jeff was interviewed on Faith and Geekery. What a fun blog title: Faith and Geekery.
