It is been a long road, but we have an audio book for By Darkness Hid!
It is absolutely awesome.
Gillian Bronte Adams has worked so hard to recording and edit audio files for this book. She also does an incredible job with all the different voices. Her talent will absolutely sweep listeners away!
The audio book should be up wherever audio books are sold. If it is not listed at your preferred audio book retailer, you should be able to request it. It is also available through Overdrive, though you might have to request that your library order it. If you subscribe to Audible, you can get it as part of your subscription. Hello Jill Williamson!
I have loved the Blood of Kings series for a very long time. First finding the books in my local library when I was in middle school and recently I rediscovered them and ordered them online. I am so happy to relive the adventure! I had always wondered if you’d written more on the story and if Gren ended up with Harnue or Sr. Rigid. I see now you have with the Kinsman Chronicles. I’m a bit confused about purchasing the books… are all the books compiled into three large books or are there three large books as well as the others? I’m waiting patiently, and eagerly for a reply, so that I might purchase these books. I am also still selfishly praying you keep writing about Vrell and Achan..I never want their story to end. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to entertainment that can be both exhilarating and God centered. Peace be with you, Jill W.

Hi, Rashana! I have not written more to Achan and Vrell’s story. I still might write some more to their story someday. I just don’t know what the story is yet. The Kinsman Chronicles is an ancient prequel series that takes place when the first king arrived in Er’Rets. The Blood of Kings series paralleled a medieval Europe, but the Kinsman Chronicles parallel ancient Israel and Judah, when many kings “did evil in the eyes of the Lord.” So the tone of the Kinsman Chronicles starts out darker since the Hadar king is currently living in a “darkness” of his own making. The story follows his sons as they come to know the One God and try to set their people back on the right path. The books are three big books. They were broken up into parts for early release on ebook, so that is why you might see so many different covers. I explain that in depth here: http://jillwilliamson.com/books/kinsman-chronicles/ Thanks for writing! ~Jill
