My son, Luke, and I have been hard at work on the second book in the RoboTales chapter book series, Mardok and the Seven Exiles. In case you didn’t know, RoboTales is a chapter book series of fractured fairytales that I wrote with the help of my son Luke (click here to learn more). Tinker is a retelling of Cinderella, but our Cinderella is a boy named Tinker who works in his uncle’s fix it shop. It has been challenging to find time to squeeze in these books between my deadlines, but Luke and I almost have book two ready to release.
To celebrate, the ebook for Tinker (book one) is free this week on Kindle. So if you like science fiction stories for young readers or know someone who does, download the ebook and/or share this image to help Luke and me spread the word. And if you do read it, please write us a short Amazon book review. Reviews help authors so much!
And now, it’s time for the cover reveal for Mardok and the Seven Exiles!
Drumroll please… (Scroll down to find the cover.)

What do you think? Any guess what fractured fairytale this one is?

that looks so fun!! Great cover 🙂
Jill Williamson says
Thanks, Kristen! 🙂

Is there going to be another Darkness book ? It kind of left it hanging. Great series though, loved all 3 of them.
Jill Williamson says
Thanks, Paula. I’m glad you liked them. I’m currently working on the ancient prequel trilogy, which is King’s Folly, King’s Blood, and King’s War. When I’m don’t with those, I plan to write an Achan and Vrell story, then some novellas about some of the minor characters like Gren, Shung, Tara, the knights, etc. But those probably won’t be published for a few years, since I’m just about to start writing King’s War.
